TUITION
Payment is due upon registration.
Children: Full payment of $360 for the fall of 2009 confirms your child’s placement in the program (12 lessons), see schedule for times. A 10% discount is offered for a full sibling registration. Private instruction is available for fall at the rate of $600 for 12 sessions. Semi-privates are available for $450 for 12 lessons.
Adults: Full payment of $380 for the fall of 2009 confirms your placement in the adult program (12 lessons). Currently we use the 7th edition of Prego! , Lazzarino & Aski. You can order the book from our online store.
Registration Fee: There is an annual $25 registration fee for all students to cover the cost of supplies and materials.
MAKE-UP CLASSES
Please call in advance if your child will not be attending class (914) 793-2629. Carolina’s “l’angolo dei bambini” allows 1 make-up classes per session. Make-up classes must be completed during the current session and will not carry over to the following sessions.
WITHDRAWAL
If you register, but choose to withdraw before commencing classes, you will receive a full refund minus a $50 registration fee.
In the unlikely event that you should need to withdraw after the semester has begun, we offer a refund of 50% of the balance of remaining classes reimbursed at the end of the session.
Workshops: No refunds, credit only towards other workshops
PARENT/CAREGIVER PARTICIPATION & RESPONSIBILITY
A parent or caregiver must attend for ages 6 months to 3 years, and is responsible for the well being of his or her child while in class. In order to make the experience at Carolina’s “l’angolo dei bambini” as immersive and authentic as possible, we ask that you try your best to refrain from speaking in English during lesson time. We encourage you to join in the class activities and songs with your child. A vocabulary list with essential words and phrases in Italian will be provided at the beginning of each session to help facilitate the process of language learning. With the list you can continue to practice and use the language at home with your child.
